Sports orienteering as a means of cadets’ physical training

The article substantiates the need to introduce sports orienteering as an effective means of physical training future officers Armed Forces in educational process higher education. In introducing officers, there was improvement level special fitness, development physical, psychological, moral and volitional qualities formation applied skills cadets. Sports is a sport that harmoniously combines mental psychological qualities. Training sessions are aimed at strengthening health cadets, providing comprehensive characteristic this type activity, achieving maximum results competitions, mastering techniques tactics orienteering, which directly affect strong-willed servicemen professional activity. Research methods: theoretical analysis scientific methodical literature, best practices Ukraine, guiding documents. It found promotes general military-applied skills, education allows recommend for military-professional (combat) activities.
